Job Description:

Grow Op Farms, the leading I-502 producer by volume of top-shelf cannabis in the state of Washington is hiring a Clerical Assistant for their Spokane Valley Location.This position is responsible for the daily transactional HR duties to assure compliance with set processes and procedures. This is a full time position and offers affordable benefits within 90 days: medical, dental, vision, life and accident. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Job Duties/Responsibilities Assists with recruitment which includes updating job postings externally and internally and pre-screening applications. Performs pre-hire steps for potential new hires which includes submitting and screening background checks, ensuring completion of pre-employment drug screenings, and sending employment offer letters and job descriptions Coordinates and administers new hire paperwork and communicates with departments when new hires are anticipated to start or any delays. Assists with orientations and presents the employee handbook. Prepares Performance Review tracking sheet, informs managers of reviews that are due and tracks completed reviews. Provides benefit information for newly eligible employees. Tracks completed benefits paperwork and enroll eligible members Updates and terminates eligible employee benefits in accordance with regulations and monthly bill reconciliation. Enters eligible employees for COBRA administration. Uploads new hire personnel files into HRIS. Uploads benefit election forms into HRIS. Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned. Performs all other duties/responsibilities/projects as necessary or assigned.

Job Requirements:

Job Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job. Must be 21 years of age or older Education/Experience: High School Diploma or a General Education Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two (2) years' experience in an office/administrative type of position Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to multitask Physical Abilities: Regularly sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 20 pounds, and grasp. Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell. Occasionally climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, carry up to 25 pounds, talk, or hear. Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness)
