Job Description:

-This position will be paid on an hourly basis for all hours worked, and is considered eligible for payment of overtime pay per applicable state law. You will report to the Dispensary Manager. -The Dispensary Specialist is responsible for delivering consistent, exceptional, and high quality customer service to each and every patient member. The Dispensary Specialist assists members with selecting products, provides them with expert knowledge about cannabis and its medicinal applications, processes transactions efficiently and accurately, keeps the Dispensary adequately stocked to facilitate daily business, and maintains a sanitary environment for members and staff.

Job Requirements:

-Create and maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all. -Provide excellent customer service while performing required tasks and duties. -Educate members on facility use and BPG policies. -Stock the dispensary and verify products are correctly priced and listed on menus. -Maximize sales by demonstrating excellent product knowledge, including proper use and dosage guidelines. -Use POS system, ATM terminals, and Rewards Card terminals to accurately record and complete transactions. -Upon request and as directed, provide members with information about laws and current events related to medical cannabis. -Execute opening and closing procedures. ABILITIES: -Committed to a "Patients First" attitude. -Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. -Knowledge of basic math and computer functions. -Ability to work accurately, quickly, and efficiently. -Ability to maintain a balanced performance between periods of high and low activity. -Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs. REQUIREMENTS: -At least 21 years old or older. -High School Diploma or equivalent -Bachelor's degree preferred -A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in sales and customer service
