We are a state-licensed, highly-regulated cannabis business engaged in the cultivation, distribution and retail sales of commercial cannabis. Founded by a Silicon Valley executive, we are a well-funded, high-growth company with short-term plans of opening additional retail locations and expanding cultivation operations in our 20,000 s/f building.
We are searching for our first full-time accountant who would also be responsible for compliance and operations management. Your duties would include the usual accounting work, such as reconciling bank accounts and company credit cards; calculating and filing returns for sales tax, use tax, and the various state cannabis taxes; budgeting; calculating the cost of our cultivated products; managing internal audits and external audits; processing payroll and AR/AP; and managing our financial software system. You would also be responsible for managing our POS- and operations software systems, supporting our operations and ensuring our compliance with local- and state regulations.
You must have a bachelor's degree and at least three years' experience working in a mid-level or senior-level accounting position.
