AP/ Grower Asst- Job Description
Reports to: Accounts Payable Supervisor and/or AP and Grower Team Members
Summary: Coordinates with AP and Grower Team Members to help process daily work load
Essential Daily Grower Duties are:
- Verify totals on Grade Sheets
- Data Entry of Grower Tags and Grades into Excel worksheet
- Scan/Fax or Email Grade Sheets daily to the appropriate Grower
- Make copies and attach completed Grower deliveries
- File completed deliveries in the appropriate Growers file
- File Weight tags on a daily basis
- Attach appropriate backup to the check copies and file in Growers file
Essential Daily AP Duties are:
- Prepare and enter all Purchasing and Accounts Payable invoices
- File posted invoices in alpha order in “Open Invoice file”
- Match Bill of Ladings to Shuttle Invoices
- Sort, open and date stamp incoming mail - daily
- Prepare signed checks to be mailed – attach remittance to checks
- Attach paid invoices to the check copies and File in Vendors file
- Update Uniform worksheet on a weekly basis
- Update Slop hauling worksheet on a weekly basis
- Maintain physical files on all Vendors
- Reconcile Vendor statements on a monthly basis
- Perform credit verification on new customers – FAX requests - as needed
- Attach invoice copies to the monthly CIP report for reconciliation
- File CIP invoices in the Project folders
- Assist AP Supervisor with reconciliation of Projects ready to be closed
- Assist others in the Accounting Department as needed

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or minimum of one year of work related experience and/or training suggested; combination of education and experience will be considered.
