Accounts Receivable Reveune Accountant Job Summary:
The full-time Accounts Receivable Revenue Accountant is responsible for performing accounts receivable duties including ensuring accuracy and efficiency while processing and monitoring incoming payments, preparing invoices/credit memos, customer information monitoring, collections, and other administrative duties.

Essential Job Duties Include (But Not Limited To):

  • Prepare invoices and collect daily for multiple divisions within the company
  • Review returns for determination of credit and issuing credit memos where applicable
  • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions, both lock box and local deposits
  • Processing of all new credit applications, including credit worthiness
  • Set up all new accounts and maintain existing accounts
  • Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service departments, and from customers
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Resolves collections by examining customer payment history and contacting them as needed on an individual account basis
  • Maintain multiple spreadsheets consistantly, including cash flow, revenue and estimates
  • Review of monthly invoices to ensure commissions are accurate
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Required and Desired Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Traits:

  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • 5 years accounting experience in a multi-division company required
  • Desire to work in a very professional, business casual, cannabis environment
  • Ability to work independently; someone who is a self-starter and doesnt wait for work direction to be given
  • Highly motivated, detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills
  • Proven working experience as accounts receivable clerk or accounts receivable manager
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collections
  • Data entry skills including 10-key
  • Hands-on experience in accounting software (QuickBooks Peachtree ideal)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Customer Service orientation and negotiation skills
  • High Degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Accounting is preferred
Compensation, Schedule and Benefits:

  • $45,000/year
  • Medical, dental, vision and life insurance after 60 days of employment.
  • 2 weeks of PTO accrued during the 1st year, 3 weeks accrued years 2-5.
  • 40 hours per week, you can set your schedule between the hours of 7am 5pm.
