EXPERIENCED ARMED DELIVERY DRIVER
$20 per hour | Full-Time | Arcata, CA
Our busy cannabis company is currently looking for dedicated, reliable candidates to fill the position of Armed Delivery Driver. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the secure delivery of goods to predetermined destinations on specific routes. They will be comfortable handling a firearm & work well in high pressure situations. The job of an Armed Delivery Driver will be to accompany our courier on the weekly route to distribute our products. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
- Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications
- Check all paperwork is correct prior to departing
- Deliver orders to distribution facilities on assigned routes
- Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher / security supervisor
- Provide excellent customer service to our partners upon deliveries
- Ensure payments are collected and stored correctly until driver returns to warehouse
- Ensure the truck is secure at all times
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class C CDL
- Must be 21+
- Clean driving record (must provide a DMV report)
- Experience in high-risk & high-pressure situations
- Ability to pass company driving test, background check and drug test
- Strong customer service skills
- Must possess a positive and professional attitude
- Must be a team player
- Must have a valid BSIS permit (Firearm permit)
- Ex-military preferred
Previous money handling experience and good math skills preferred
