Job Title: Assistant Cultivation Manager
General Function: Assisting in setup, maintenance, harvest, process, and packaging of crops
Primary Responsibilities: A successful candidate must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactory.
Primary functions include but are not limited to:
- Maintains high horticultural standards and practices
- Preparatory work for setup or movement of grow trays
- Assist in setup, mixing, and maintaining salt program/ nutrient system
- Intensive cleaning of equipment and general work areas
- Receiving, inventory, and stocking materials related to grow operations
- Proper documentation and tracking of all activates necessary to be in accordance with all Company, State, and local requirements
- Hiring, directing and managing cultivation staff
Requirements
Education and Experience
- A.S. or B.S. in Horticulture, Botany, or related field (requirement)
- Previous experience in commercial horticulture of at least 1 year
License and Certifications
- Must posses or be able to obtain a valid State of Colorado Drivers License
- Pesticide applicator license preferred
Computer Skills
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office efficiently
Physical demands
- This job will require and active workday with standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting
- Able to lift 70 lbs.
Benefits
Full Time Position: $35,000-$50,000 + Benefits DOE
