Position Summary/Objective
Assist the DOO in maintaining, and implementing systems for every aspect of the organization, from production to distribution; to ensure the steady flow of cannabis and cannabis derived products of the highest quality to the registered patients of New Mexico.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Specific coursework or experience in relation to building and safety codes.
  • Technical abilities, certifications, specific training on construction, mechanical, automotive, or industrial power tools will be considered.
  • Previous experience in cannabis industry related field

  • Varying Work Environment, both indoor and outdoor, regardless of weather conditions
  • Statewide travel as needed for this position
  • This is a full-time position, expected 40 hours a week. Days and hours of work varies depending on the requirement of essential work and project priority.

Essential Functions Include:

  • Act as a conduit for the entire staff to communicate effectively and work efficiently through established Policy and Procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with the State’s Department of Health Rules and Regulations across all departments
  • Maintain a testing strategy to affect all useable cannabis and derive strategies to counteract unforeseen shortages in production
  • Enact systems to maintain proper Chain of Custody, safety, and proper distribution of the cannabis and cannabis derived products.
  • Develop and implement the Quality Assurance Plan, establish essential quality control measure to ensure the medication is of the highest quality, potency is consistent, and accurately identified, and labeled.
  • Assist with all managers and employees to balance work duties and maintain a 99% operational work environment at the Production Facility and Distribution Clinic.
  • Serve the management entity and act as a filter of information and appointments to the best effect to aide in their responsibilities of the CEO, Managing Partners and the Board of Directors.
  • Establish areas and storage strategies to hold the medication for the processing of Laboratory Derivatives, and Edible or Topical cannabis derived products.
  • Be available as mediator and resolution maker for inter-personnel and public disputes.
  • Mine and make available any necessary data for the sales system, and all compliance documents necessary for the NM State Department of Health.
  • In absence of the CEO, and the management entity and as needed, serve the organization in that capacity, as liaison to the Media, the NM Department of Health, Investors, the Board of Directors, and the Staff as needed.
  • Monitor security including distributing and tracking of keys, badges, FOBs, alarm codes, and camera systems as well as thorough reports documenting incidents.
  • Initiation of contractor services including estimates, access, and accountability
  • Schedule services and repairs for all systems.
  • Other duties, as assigned by Management.
