JOB DESCRIPTION:
A Cannabis Company in Spokane, WA is searching for a Recruiter/Hiring Assistant to join our team! As a Recruiter/Hiring Assistant, you will work closely with the Hiring Managers to build out their teams. We currently operate two dispensaries in Spokane County and are ranked among the top 10% highest grossing retailers in the state of Washington. We achieved $10M in revenue last year and are on track to reach $20M in 2018. This is a great opportunity for the right individual to join a growing organization and help find the talented people we need to be successful. You'll be the face of the company in interviews and engage with active and passive candidates through a highly engaged sourcing approach. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build a healthy pipeline of qualified candidates
- Review resumes and conduct pre-interview screens to make recommendations to managers
- Schedule onsite interviews with candidates
- Check employee references and background checks
- Send offer letters to prospective employees and coordinate on-boarding
- Maintain and update Asana, our applicant tracking system
- Act as an internal consultant to hiring managers by providing guidance throughout the process
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the interview process
- Assist in miscellaneous recruiting projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management or other field
- 1-3 years of recruiting experience, with a focus on a variety of candidates/job orders
- Proven track record of sourcing and hiring active/passive candidates
- Prior experience with using an applicant tracking system
- Successfully deliver on all deadlines and flawlessly execute in a very fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work 40-50 hours per week (with overtime pay)
- User of cannabis products
COMPENSATION:
$15-17/hour and potential for quarterly bonuses. Possibility of additional compensation increase within 90-120 days of employment.
