The Hartford Dispensary, founded in 1871, is a leading behavioral healthcare provider dedicated to treating behavior health needs. Accredited by CARF for its high standards of care, the Hartford Dispensary seeks out passionate and talented individuals to join its staff. Regardless of the position held, each employee plays an important role in caring for clients and providing support in their recovery. Today, the Hartford Dispensary is one of the largest providers of methadone treatment in the country and is now expanding its continuum of behavioral health services, with its newest addition of the Intensive Outpatient Program. The agency treats over 5,500 clients per day within its network of nine statewide clinics.
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, provides program management and oversight for the clinic and ensures all federal and state regulations and policies and procedures of the Hartford Dispensary are adhered to. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; ensuring proper care is being provided in accordance with program standards, develops and provides ongoing clinical and administrative development for staff and program planning. Serves as a guide for case conferencing and creates and reviews treatment plans as needed. Additionally, performs full range of counseling and clinical duties to select caseload of patients as directed.
Education, Licensure & Experience
Graduate degree in a related field with appropriate licensure in the state of CT as an LCSW or LPC. In addition, the applicant must possess at least four years of full-time, paid experience, in a behavioral health setting, with at least one of those years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Clinic Supervisor provides supervision to all staff and interns. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: coordinating activities, patient caseload, and work assignments for staff. The Clinic
Supervisor provides guidance and direction to assist staff with questions/concerns related to patient treatment plans; case management; or other clinical/counseling areas. Collaborates with the QI Coordinator, HR Director and under the direction of the Clinical Services Director to maintain compliance with quality assurance processes as required by CARF. Additionally, the Clinic Supervisor maintains select case load of patients and facilitates counseling services and on going education and support to assist patients in reaching treatment goals.
