Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated energetic Medical Marijuana Cultivation Center Facility Manager who shares our passion for quality medicine for patients who need them and who supports the Company’s core values and culture. The Facility Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the facility in accordance with local and District laws, regulations, and standards set by the Company. The Facility Manager is expeced to provide support for all cultivation agents, including schedules, training, policy and procedure updates, industry news, and product information as well as lead procurement, waste disposal and inventory management activities. Scope and responsibilities include:

Managing all facility employees involved in the cultivation including: tissue culture, cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays as well as testing and packaging.

‪Working with our Lead Horticulturist to establish protocols to ensure the facility is able to maintain a maximized steady state product, and analyze efficiencies focused on increasing yields and reducing cost. Developing and maintain cultivation warehouse protocols and nutrient regiment.

Managing the tracking of all inventory in the seed-to-sale software and liases with the accounting department to maintain, with the administrative, flower, and post-harvest staffs, the control of all inventory (plants, in-process products, and final products) in the facility.

The Facility Manager works closely and collaboratively with cultivation leadership and reports to the Regional Director. Required experience and skills include: two years of experience in a position with managerial responsibilities; thorough understanding of state and local medical marijuana laws are required; excellent communication skills and attention to detail; effective time-management and ability to multi-task; and an ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment. Must have extensive indoor growing methods knowledge including an in depth knowledge of PH, PPM and EC counts. A favorable background screening report is required by the MMJ Program. The cultivation center is located in the Woodridge neighborhood and is accessible to the Rhode Island Metro. Application Deadline is December 23, 2017.
