We are adding an experienced Director of Employee Engagement to our Revolution team!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional, operational human resources guidance through planning, organizing, and controlling the activities of the human resources department
  • Provide management guidance, while implementing innovative solutions
  • Maintain organizational credibility by enforcing company policy and procedure
  • Manage human resources by utilizing industrial psychology solutions and implement effective processes for recruiting, onboarding, talent management, payroll, and benefits
  • Partner with legal counsel to manage, communicate, and stay current with relevant regulations, including record retention, compliance, report filings, and requests related to EEO, ADA, ERISA, FLSA, NLRA, DOL, FMLA, COBRA, and Unemployment Administration
  • Draft standard operating procedures to capture all functions with the organization
  • Amend, implement, and administer various procedures for all company personnel
  • Work with operations to lead new approaches, policies, and procedure for continual improvements in efficiencies
  • Employee handbook review with regular updates to policy as needed
  • Provide regular value-added training to the different levels of management via professional development workshops (conflict resolution, time management, coaching/mentoring subordinates, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or similar field
  • Minimum Five years’ experience with focus on strategy, talent management, and organizational design
  • Knowledge and experience implementing new and innovative management strategy
  • PHR/SPHR accreditation through SHRM or HRCI certification
  • Experience managing human resources in a fast-growing start-up environment preferred
  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to motivate and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationAbility to travel as necessary (Barry, Delavan, and Elmhurst, IL, and other states, as added)
  • Passion for medical cannabis preferred
  • Must pass internal and external background checks, including criminal history check by the State Police and FBI
  • Must obtain a Cultivation Center Agent Identification Card from the IL Department of Agriculture
