The Extraction Assistant provides on-site support for the extraction manager for the production of Cultivate’s extraction-based products. Completes tasks assigned by the Extraction Manager to monitor and maintain the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of production areas. The Extraction Assistant manages and execution of day-to-day tasks, including prepping, measuring, extracting, baking, and packaging. The Extraction Assistant must monitor and maintain the production facility in accordance with State regulations and standards set by Cultivate.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Two-year degree in the culinary or related field. Two years experience in general production, preferably a regulated field producing for human consumption. Also, any satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the following duties: Knowledge of medical cannabis law, medicinal benefits, and cooking skills. Effective time-management skills and ability to multitask. Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or product up to 50 lbs. for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Proficiency in google cloud software.
CORE JOB DUTIES
1. Manufacturing a. Prepares and executes Company extraction-based product line through the measuring and processing of product, in accordance with the State and standards set by Cultivate. b. Assists in maintaining a safe and clean production area and work environment at all times. c. Assists in consistency and efficacy of product through quality control testing and procedures outlined by Cultivate.
2. Facility Cleaning
a. Performs all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility.
b. Ensures that personal hygiene is acceptable under standards set by Cultivate before performing any production activities by washing hands, wearing a hairnet, changing clothes, etc. c. Completes the sanitation of all production equipment and tools, including workspace, utensils, containers, cookware, and appliances.
JOB SKILLS
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Accurate data entry and record keeping. Experience with the ADP system. Thorough understanding of medical cannabis policy and law. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. Ability to follow directions easily and to the detail with oversight when needed. Proficiency in Windows-based software and internet navigation.
JOB SCOPE
Operates with direct supervision from Extraction Manager. Follows established policies and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts, policies, and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks.
