JOB DESCRIPTION

The Graphic Designer will have experience in both print and electronic media. The Graphic Designer should be someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs. The Graphic Designer should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work and be able to express creativity through artwork/design to support Cura and our clients. We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal Graphic Designer will be able to hit the ground running and be agile in what is now one of the fastest growing industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work simultaneously on 5+ projects based on current workload
• Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites, and other media including info-graphics
• Put together disparate elements created by another professional, such as the icons, photographs, and other components, into one cohesive design
• Consult with marketing, copywriting, and sales teams to create designs that reflect our values, mission, and goals

QUALIFICATIONS:

• In order to be eligible for this position, you MUST already have your OLCC Marijuana Handlers Card
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Marketing or related discipline
• Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentation
• 4+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism

COMPENSATION:

• Compensation depends on experience. Full-time Cura employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
