We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This position involves developing new prospects and interacts with existing customers primarily by phone to increase sales of an organization's products and services. Coordinates with field sales team members to ensure goals are met. Provides support to customers over the phone.

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We experience an extremely high call volume, so it’s important to maximize your time on the phone before moving on to the next caller.

Responsibilities

  • Book orders for customers based on availability of product
  • Generating Leads
  • Upsell to clients by recommending higher-end and new product lines
  • Process orders and update the system to reflect the new orders taken
  • Inform customers of alternative options if originally requested items are unavailable
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs
  • Understanding and promoting company programs
  • Capture customer information, including addresses and phone numbers, for future follow-up
  • Build rapport with customers and suppliers through friendly, engaging communication

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or High school diploma with equivalent experience
  • Inside/outside sales experience (outbound and incoming calls a must)
  • Knowledge of Cannabis preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems (WORD, EXCEL and OUTLOOK)
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience preferred
