POSITION

Papa & Barkley is seeking a self-directed and experienced logistics associate for our logistics facility in Los Angeles for this privately-held consumer products company. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in logistics in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be drawn to the fluidity and pace of a high-growth organization, will excel at ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base, reporting directly to the logistics director.

The scope of this position includes, but is not limited to, brand ambassador activities, conducting inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods, packing and loading products onto trucks according to company’s specifications, picking and packing of orders, delivering orders to customers on assigned routes, maintaining ongoing communication with the Logistics Manager and sales associates, unloading goods as per client specifications, reviewing deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs, and obtaining delivery confirmations and payments from each customer, maintaining compliance with all P&B outlined regulations as pertaining to state compliance, and will have a passion for the cannabis industry.

Qualifications:

• Clean Driving Record and ability to be insured
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related field
• Customer service experience
• 1-3 years previous experience; experience in cannabis industry highly desirable
• Proficient computer skills
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift 50 pounds
