Boston Public Schools seeks a Recruitment, Cultivation and Diversity Programs (RCD) Program Coordinator. REPORTS TO: Managing Director of Recruitment, Cultivation and Diversity Programs (RCD)POSITION OVERVIEW: The Office of Human Capital is committed to recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining a racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse group of highly effective and culturally proficient teachers and principals every year. We continue to focus our efforts around three key levers for human capital reform: Cultivate and Recruit, Hire Early, and Develop and Retain. These levers remain at the center of our strategy for accelerating student learning.

The Office of Human Capital has strategically reorganized Diversity Programs and the recruitment teams to combine talent recruitment, pipeline development, teacher development and diversity programs to better support candidates and employees from recruitment throughout their careers in response to the districts workforce diversity needs. The new team is Recruitment, Cultivation & Diversity Programs (RCD). The BPS Teaching Fellowship is an accelerated program that prepares aspiring teachers within the Boston community to lead our students to academic success, and is part of the districts overall human capital strategy to increase the diversity and effectiveness of our teaching force. The RCD Program Coordinator will manage program operations and data management systems including the execution of recruitment and selection strategies to support the BPS Teaching Fellowship program.

The RCD Program Coordinator will also work closely with the RCD Leadership team to support the team to meet its ambitious goals.RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage recruitment, selection, cultivation and enrollment processes, including participating in application review, drafting communications and running operations and logistics for teacher recruitment and hiring eventsAnalyze program data to include: recruitment data, program participant performance data, evaluation data, and student achievement data to drive program improvement and monitor progress towards goalsCreate program materials, including PowerPoint presentations, marketing materials, handouts and talking points for meetings and eventsProvide operations support as needed for the execution of the programsProvide strong customer service by communicating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including fellows, state and district staff, teachers, principals, and othersDraft and manage routine communications to BPS Teaching Fellowship stakeholdersDevelop and maintain tracking systems for communications and program deadlines QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in related fieldStrong program or project management experience with extraordinary attention to detail, professionalism, ability to organize, plan and execute multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to adapt to changes quickly, proposing and implementing thoughtful solutionsDemonstrated success in analyzing and interpreting quantitative data and diverse information and to make recommendations based on the findings, specifically using Excel and/or AccessStrong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointOutstanding interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to communicate well, verbally and in writing, with stakeholders at all levels Collaborate, attain, and grow effective partnerships to meet common goalsCurrent authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED: Master's Degree in the field of educationWiki space management experienceApply here: https://bostonpublicschools.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=11423 TERMS: Managerial Tier B, 12 months.
