Experience in the cannabis industry is NOT required for retail supervisors--just a proven background in customer service, team leadership and cash handling practices.

Retail supervisors lead a team of 6-10 associates on an 8-hour shift with high-volume customer traffic and daily in-store product demonstrations by vendor/partners. Basic requirements include:

  • Minimum one year of experience as a supervisor at a dispensary
  • Two years of experience in retail, hospitality, lodging or front-line customer service
  • Must be 21 or over (California state law)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience with modern POS, reservation or retail systems
  • Above-average Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with the Google suite of products.
