Growing cannabis company seeking to hire Full Time experienced Staff Accountant.
Qualified candidate should be a dependable self-starter able to meet deadlines independently. Must have high ethical standards; bring a great attitude, communication skills, and work ethic. This position requires the candidate to be extremely organized and work at a fast pace performing multiple tasks.
Responsibilities Include:
Process payroll and payroll tax deposits for multiple clients on a timely basis
File Federal and State payroll tax returns
Full charge bookkeeping
Preparation of Financial Statements
Sales Tax Filings
1099 Reporting
Preparing Individual, Partnership and Corporate Tax returns
Experience using Quickbooks
Answer phones and interact with team and clients as required.
Assist leadership as required
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, related degrees considered with sufficient experience.
5 plus years Bookkeeping, Payroll and Tax preparation experience required.
Must be proficient using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
This is a salaried position paying between $36,000 and $55,000 annually. Pay is commensurate with education and experience.
