Job Description:

Our ideal candidate will be a leader with a strong business mindset. You should also be apt in organizing and solving problems. Since you’ll often be acting as a point of contact between Managers, Employees, Vendors, and Customers, interpersonal and mediation skills are very useful.

* Manages staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development

* Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

* Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity when employees are absent

  • Leverages individual staff strengths and creates developmental plans to prepare positions for future growth within the organization.
  • Demonstrates desired behaviors for staff including driving sales, handling difficult and/or complicated transactions, cash management, inventory and shrink, and follow-up with Customers.
  • Provides a strong leadership presence and control in store, while ensuring that all Customers receive Beyond the Bud service and quality merchandise.
  • Delivers consistent, in the moment, feedback and coaching.
  • Helps Customers by providing information; answering questions; obtaining products requested; completing payment transactions; preparing products for handoff.
  • Prepares sales and customer relations reports by analyzing and categorizing sales information; identifying and investigating customer complaints and service suggestions.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Ensures all pricing, signage, and displays are correct at all times.
  • Identifies opportunities to drive traffic into the store through community events (festivals, socials, etc.)

* Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment

* Manage all controllable costs to keep operations profitable

* Enforces all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security.

* Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements

Requirements:
- 3+ years in dedicated retail management position
- Proven track record of sales growth
- Ability to demonstrate retail sales knowledge
- Experience in managing teams of 10 or more
- Experience in developing and maintaining budgets
- Experience in Shrink Management

- MS Office skills desired
- Highly motivated and articulate

- Luxury Brand Management Preferred

- Must be 21 or older.
-The ability to pass a federal background check conducted by San Jose Police Department
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Be able to work in a fast paced high traffic environment.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: $23-25 per hour + Bonus Opportunities
